I think it's fair and makes sense. A lot of Karpathy's work has been featured on HN and I find this news relevant in following what he's working on. When Scott Aaronson wrote about moving to Austin, that post made the rounds

I've been making my own too! Used it for notes in class for the past two years. https://nanote.co I really love the look of yours, by the way. It's super clean.

The bit about better "errors" for Allman style braces really drives home to me just how proudly opinionated Go is. "We know about this other indent style and acknowledge it, but it's WRONG." I really gave Go a good

How reasonable is it to say that NSA are at least in part responsible for deaths resulting from the NHS crisis, since the ransomware is using their exploit?

This readme is unironically excellent. I wish some actual serious projects had "getting started" guides this good.

Ooh, I like this question. 1. Trim the fat. Reduce the number of employees dramatically. Obviously not a graceful change but I feel there should not be that as many people working there as there are now. 2. Focus on engagement, not growth.

No, because being propositioned for sex with a manager is absolutely out of line no matter when it happened. If anything, I think she was too patient with management and gave them way too many chances to get it remotely right because she

30 fps is pretty good for an eInk screen, and UI design for a two-tone black or white screen seems like a really interesting challenge. Maybe I should build one of these...

It sure says a lot that a mental condition is grouped with drug abuse and carrying a sexually transmitted disease.

It's not everything you asked for, but as it stands Chrome does have a task manager (Shift + Esc) that shows CPU usage, Memory, and also how the tabs are grouped process-wise.

This is such a shame. I remember the NSA and FBI having trouble finding techies because basically everyone they interviewed had smoked weed sometime in the last five years.

I definitely see this happening on the left as well (with identity politics). Makes sense that the response on the right follows suit.

Those same people that would die trying to make it into the US are now going to be turned away if they do make it. The America that prides itself being a destination of salvation for immigrants is not the America that Trump wants to create.
