Sounds like your issue is writing the complex SQL all as strings in your codebase instead of as functions in the database.

I work in logistics, warehouse management systems (in particular the one I've specialized in) have incredibly complex databases with a lot of business logic baked in. This is due to being very data-crentric applications. Also, in man

the entire point of the system I described is that it never needs to load that data into context. AI is excellent at mapping from one format to another. I use this method to great affect.

warehouse / logistics systems. Basically a fusion of proprietary monoliths, more SQL than you can shake a stick at, and a rube goldberg of supporting applications.

Better idea, how about you just put a link to a csv dump of your inventory data and label it "AI Agents/Scrapers, click here to get all the inventory data", embed that on every page, then call it a day? When you are being scr

My understanding is that any organizations have an absolute ban on using anything with AGPL because it affects any other code that touches it and its considered too high a risk.

Requiring seperate Amazon only sku's (especially if they need it to be printed on the product label) is a giant PITA. Definitely worth doing, but keeping up with all of Amazon's compliance requirements requires a fairly robust log

why would old code be worth less? to me its a great achievement for a codebase to maintain stability and usability over a long timespan. if you venture even five feet into the world of enterprise software (particularly at non tech companies

I dunno, I think many dev are aware of the existence of RFCs, but if your work occurs at higher levels of the stack there is frequently not a pressing need to read them. For example, you don't have to read the specific RFC to know th

Our solution to this was two cars, with one being a tiny well used EV (2015 Fiat 500E) where the range boils down to "dont leave town". Its a fantastic city car. 50% to full is about 3 hour on a 120v wall charger, and that's

I'm shocked there's not more traction on this post. Breaking localhost is almost unthinkable to me. Of all the things network unit testing should cover, that's pretty close to the top.
