Basically, the ask for forgiveness approach. It's common in large, dysfunctional organizations as well. Sometimes the easiest way to get attention is to break things. Then once enough pain is felt, everyone starts taking interest. Tryi

To add fuel to the fire, Elon has been quite vocal about his disdain for Larry lately. According to Elon, he got upset at Larry for not taking the risks of AI seriously. I wouldn't put it past Elon for this to be a bit of him thumbing

I use emudeck and think it's great, but I'm not naive enough to not see how proper steam integration would make things better. Case in point, it would be awesome to have community support for things like controller configs on cert

You honestly can't see a difference between installing the emu via steam on the deck versus switching to the desktop os, mucking about with various packages and configs, figuring out how to make the app show up in the steam ui and then

It's honestly easier just to use an SSD now. You can literally fit every PS2 game onto one these days. I did do the nas for the better part of a decade though and it works pretty well.

O_o I rented a hyundai a few weeks ago that had acc with steering, throttle, and braking. I tested the hands free mode on the interstate and it worked very well.

Are we discussing gaming or AI? When it comes to AI solutions, AMD isn't even close.

It's not needed on smaller screens. The switch does similar things. It's a common tactic on handhelds to disable those sort of features as they add no noticeable improvement.

I played Harry Potter on medium-high settings. If you keep the resolution at the native screen resolution and turn off things that aren't needed on a smaller screen (eg AA or super sampling), the performance is better than PS4 and roug

Just to add some context here. Some of this doesn't line up with my experience. - my battery life is roughly 2-4 hours depending on the game. I'm playing Yakuza like a dragon right now and the battery lasts close to 3 hours - my s

Do you REALLY think an executive order had any chance of succeeding? Think about it for a minute. You think the SC would be ok with the president having the ability to forgive loans on a whim?

Why is agi the requirement? I'm more worried about the near term situation of dumb interconnected ai based systems that cannot be debugged down to first principles.

I'd love to know more about the strong legal argument. It seems pretty obvious to me that the SC wouldn't be ok with the president having the ability to just erase debt like this.

More often than not, politics is about optics, not solutions. This was doomed to fail from the beginning and I bet they knew it. Status quo continues, crisis remains, talking points for the next election cycle established. Sorry guys, we co

Justification wasn't requested. Elaborating on their "trigger" was. Again, this is abhorrent. No one should be required to go into details about being sexually assaulted as a means of "justification."
