At the risk of inflaming some - if you were buying the home, a paper loss in market value is irrelevant unless you are planning on selling the home during that time. The real problem here is that we're not really talking about home ownershi

If you buy a home, market fluctuations don't matter. It's your home, you are going to live in it. If you were in the business of flipping properties for a living, it would matter, but not if you buy. If you toss a mortgage into the mix,

A home may or may not be an investment - investing in a property for investment gains and buying a home as a place to live are not necessarily, and nor should they be, the same thing. Most people don't ever see the distinction. The article

It seems to me that the largest problem with this type of service, however it's dressed up, is on the VPN endpoint. We could argue forever about which transport is easier/has more security/etc - but if the VPN endpoint is not extremely sec

IANAL, but although you may not be able to tell the customers, you could chase up other legal avenues to contest the court order - even though you'd probably lose in the end (according to this doc at least) - and that's what the FBI is tryi

I like the analogy - it works to a degree. I'd say more like it covers the whole spectrum from solo musicians to garage bands that suck, to good garage bands, to "rockstars". Sure, those working on super high profile projects can be like ro

I'm curious to know your thoughts on what your feelings are on your own children's educations. Will you advise them to drop out of highschool and start working? Are you expecting them to go to university?

My understanding is hte iPhone doens't actually have a GPS receiver in it at all. It only uses a fuzzily defined "assisted GPS" which is basically based completely on 3g towers. They don't use the GPS satellites at all.
