It depends what you're trying to do. If you want just to "play" and do some tiny projects as low level as reasonable - go for learning C first. You'll learn a lot - and then when you learn rust, the reasons why things

It gets really messy though when you're working with a band (usual case when a drum kit is involved), and multiple mics. A drum kit may well have 3 or more mics able to "hear" each drum. The direct mic on the drum, possibly a

"The Bible" isn't really one book, and trying to read it as one is ... messy and hard. It's a convenient collection of a whole bunch of short books. I'd think reading individual books would be a better approach. Sto

My team does this really well. If you have something to say, put a finger up. If you see someone else with a finger up, put up two. Or three, or whatever, so it's a queue. Which is a good indicator to the current speaker how soon they

A 25k LOC Django project - takes 15-20 minutes to run mypy... Unit tests take about 3 minutes. That's locally on a fast (ish) laptop. GH CI takes 10 minutes to run tests, so I'm a little hesitant to see how long mypy takes to run

Would it be possible to do multiple vertical shaft tubes, straight down rather than a huge flat thing? I feel like in 100 years time we'll have all these loopy pipe arrays all over the place being a pain to clean up...

Yes - it's kinda ugly at the moment, having all the `a` prefixed functions - but I think it's intended as a kind of long-term-intermediate step - since the whole of django isn't async at the moment, and needs to have separa

Our 4 year old wakes up about 6am (give or take 45 minutes) and as soon as she knows I'm awake, wants to read, talk, play together. Our 7 year old gets to bed at 7:45 in the evening, which is early compared to his friends. All the time
