See also the old GauGAN: http://nvidia-research-mingyuliu.com/gaugan/ In that one you couldn't get much control like drawing letter clouds in the sky

It's cool, but is it 16bit perhaps? Would be fair to compare to tensorbook of similar cost. Desktop wise, you can buy a 1080 for <400 on eBay and the latest gen nvidia are obviously much faster for still less cost than the mac pro.

You can buy firewire pcie cards on Amazon for $20 that work with windows 10, then use win dv to capture, works great with d8 and dv. I've heard of d8 camcorders that are v8 compatible but never seen. V8 and hi8 I just use rca. Blackmag

My guess is that the historical society won't let you buy it without the furniture, and the furniture is multiples the cost of the building.

Do you think if you wrote it slower it would be a little less weird? Eel is the weirdest thing to eat with strangers. Her biology was like a movie. These things are brilliant in a Delillo like way but the flow is too fast. Also making a but

Yea I've been wondering about charts I've seen comparing tpu model quality perf to gpu model quality like here [1], whether that could be due to error correction. At the same time training on gaming gpus like 1080 ti or 2080 ti is

Edge tpu is 2 tflops at half precision, cloud tpu starts at 140 tflops single precision and scales further. Also edge tpu is 2-5Watts. Supposedly cloud tpus are more power efficient than GPUs, and for eg the 14 tflops 2080 ran at 300 W regu

You can adapt the final layer of weights on edge tpu. Training on a dev board should be a last resort. Even hobbyists can afford to rent gpus for training on vast.ai or emrys

Thanks for the detailed response. I was just about to say: when to use an FPGA over a gpu? There are a few GPU gems books that describe what kind of code runs best on GPUs, and you can buy 30TFlops for $700 these days. I know gpu is not so

What is the purpose of this card? I'm familiar with using GPUs and even TPUs for some task specific acceleration but what's the point of a chip like this? Does this speed up arbitrary C code? I understand that an FPGA is in the mi

Laptop wise I've changed the paste on 2 macbook pros and 1 macbook. 2/3 times CPU throttling got better. I will probably never do it again, smartest move is to buy a new laptop and sell the old one on ebay.
