I had not heard of zero point clamping. This video I found is extremely cool, I can see how that would save a lot of time and money in the shop! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrLri_RdgK8

What happens when you use up the 60 minutes of talk time?

I'd argue it doesn't show growth or shrinking. What capacity does remembering strings of numbers "grow"? There's no clear connection to remembering other things, or math skills, or anything but how many numbers you

Would it be possible to check for the power adapter and run processing then? These are the types of things I've been thinking about for my own app: https://stardateapp.com

Awesome, this is a good idea! Having a nice wrapper to make LLM calls easier is very helpful too :) Nice to see someone digging in on the system models. That's on my list to play with, but I haven't seen much new info on them or h

The art of the deal isn't a deal. It's extortion.

This video is great, but it must have been awkward to have Linus narrating about your own house while you sit there. Why not interview Kenton?

Does this work for Raspberry Pi? Say for example I wanted to make an image that would auto-connect to my Tailscale network, or pre-install some software, would this be able to achieve that?

How are you handling the mailing? I love the idea of a mail-based project, but I worry that I would forget to go to the post office occasionally.

That is kind of strangely worded, but I think I see what they're getting at. Say you would have been exactly not-profitable ($0) if you could expense all of your R&D as in the old system, therefore avoiding tax. Now with the new ru

Not sure why, but reasons.json is mostly duplicates (as many as 50!) of the same 25 responses: https://gist.github.com/deanputney/4143ca30f7823ce53d894d3ed... It'd be easier to add new ones if they were in there a

Tracking stock trades is one of the most advanced uses of audio journaling I've seen– wow! You're pushing that into an area I had not thought of, very cool. I made Stardate[0] for my own voice journaling and use it similarly. I tr

That's very interesting. I guess it just can't compete with any of the Nvidia cards? I would think your results should show up if sorted by "generation"– maybe the leaderboard is cached...

I cannot tell if the original tweet is sarcasm or not. Sections like this make me think yes? It's got to be at least tongue-in-cheek.

The purpose of these changes is to hurt those who are vulnerable to them. It's shocking to see how quickly people were willing to trade that support for some perceived short term gain. I suspect a lot of people are about to find out th

The trouble with the bulbs is that if you turn off the switch, now your automations can't control the bulb. I've got one bulb that occasionally loses connection. Then I have to turn it off on the switch, and the next time I go to

The hike around the base of Mount Rainier is a multi-day endeavor. Since the author mentions a guide, I’d guess this is what they mean. It requires preparations like shipping supplies in advance- jeans would be a poor choice. https:/&

Before I bought a printer for home, I'd go print things at my local library. Pretty convenient, and it was free for 10 b/w pages a week! But getting my own used Brother printer was a real step up.
