I live fairly frugally compared to other people in the Bay Area whose actual yearly expenses might be $150k+ (did I say financial independence is my obsession? :-)), so I don’t mind accumulating more, it will give me more flexibility. But I

A key question is: why so little runway with such a large compensation? Even in the Bay Area that’s a bit odd. I also am obsessed about financial independence, in the Bay Area, with comparable years of experience, started from 0, but circum

Is taking a bike/car and delivering food via DoorDash or instacart a possibility? If I was close to financial ruin, I would do that and probably in my area could earn enough to afford a rented room and minimum quality of life, while I&

Yes, this clarifies well what is possible vs not. I was trying to understand if there is an opportunity to introduce some of this technology to solve “anomaly detection” on large amount of structured data, where anomaly might be an incredib

Thanks. I wonder if a reasonable approach could then be to first insert the data in a datawarehouse-like database suitable for analytics, and then use an LLM application to (1) generate SQL queries that could answer my question, reasoning a

I have always wanted to move to a "deterministic app switching" workflow, since on any given day I go through cmd+tab thousands of times. I rely on it so much that on every macbook I've ever used the cmd key becomes visibly d

Is there a reason why you are not dedicating some of your time to gig economy work, such as DoorDash, Uber, TaskRabbit (or the equivalent in your country). Those should allow you to not overly depend on your partner, which is very unhealthy
