Can't recommend Thomas and crew more. The interview process with them was smooth, transparent, responsive, and always forthright. I'd fully recommend interested individuals take a look.

I think you missed my point. Microsoft BASIC is a dialect consisting of a couple dozen BASIC implementations: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_BASIC And clicking any of those will list them as a "Microsoft

I find it weird that that list is titled "BASIC dialects " but then lists implementations. There are a couple dozen implementations of the Microsoft BASIC dialect (and another half dozen BASICA), for instance.

The thing about Microsoft's BASIC suite was that it wasn't generally bad (it was their launching software, after all), it was just generic. So implementations for different platforms could vary in quality depending on necessary in

GPU manufacturers have no reason to include additional memory chips of no use on a card. This isn't like a cutdown die, which is a single piece with disabled functionality...the memory chips are all independent (expensive) pieces solde

You're correct, thanks for the clarification. I was going more with the colloquial understanding of the two (analog = continuous; digital = discrete) and was trying to touch on the vagueness of no true analog clock with the reference t

You literally just defined the difference between digital (binary) and analog (gradation). A digital clock is 1:01 or 1:02. An analog clock is some tick of some range (depending on the resolution, as you abstracted), at all times.

Your example is akin to there being a very clear "No Jaywalking sign", jaywalking anyways because you see no traffic/others doing it, having a cop hit you with a ticket, and then complaining that the cop is abusing his power.

The blurb is there because Germans are stereotypically terrible at humor (especially irony and sarcasm). It's a metajoke. I can only hope you're being ironic, in missing that; or it's now doubly meta.

Yeah, I feel like anyone making this statement hasn't done any sort of wide cross-compilation in the past, let alone of an entire OS. It should be a basic expectation, but most certainly isn't one in the real-world. Especially w
