It is, but as bug crop up you can add tests to ensure they don't crop up again. While it's not possible to ensure perfection, it does help ensure you don't 'revert back' to past problems.

What is wrong with different naming conventions for fields vs. properties, and methods? It makes it immediately obvious what is what at a glance. *Honest question - I first learned programming with C#, and so those conventions seem 'correc

But for the majority of people constructing the html\css to do that is a chore\"impossible". Storing it into a database and providing a simplistic word editor to write up new things is the easiest way. Storing the information in a db just

Does the font used actually matter? In my opinion I quite like how it looks, regardless of the font used.

That's how I feel too. I saw the title, and I thought: "Wow, I could really use this". Looked at the pricing, and was too confused to continue any further..

That's really what this post should have been about. Where the money has gone, and what more will enable them to do. In my view (an outsiders) they haven't done anything of much significance with what they already got.

But won't using the canvas for this eliminate the compatability in older browsers? Which not caring for older browsers would help resolve a lot of the pains of working with the front end in browsers...

Because quite frankly they aren't a big deal right now. Yes, of course it has a huge potential benefit, but it's not there. So why should they care about it.

I'm glad to here you like the OS, unfortunate about lacking apps though. Hopefully Mango changes that (thoughts on it?) I'm actually getting a WP7 phone Tuesday myself. Any recommendations for apps, or anything once I get it?

Purely from what I've read it's capabilities atm are a bit of a failure. Honestly though, with Mango being release in about a month, that could change dramatically.

He actually mentions why in a Mixergy interview. I believe it's one that's still free to view, but to paraphrase: People who see it and recognize it are the type of people he wants to catch attention from(hackers). Suits, would see it and

No doubt it is. I think it's just a problem with us understanding more. There is always going to be, taking to much of something, too little of something else, doing to much of x, doing to little of x. Things that are good for us are bad

I find it odd someone would just denounce others achievements. Out of curiosity have you done better than this, or are you speaking purely from where you want to be? If anything this is a great point to build off of for them.

I don't see too big of a problem with it regardless. If you spend your time liking, sharing, or commenting on something there is obviously an 'emotional' response to it. As long as FB doesn't start saying 'your friend x' likes this, when

Wouldn't having a chronological portfolio of your personal works be valuable information for colleges, and employers? It'd show development, areas of interest, 'how' you think, and much more. Certainly it's not going to be as simple as lo

Do you exercise most days? Do you at least a similar wake up\sleep time for a month? And another obvious about drink enough water\food? All have a huge impact for me. I can go on much less sleep when I do hard exercise that day.

Why not just do something like the below when you need to do that? var img = new Image(); img.onload = function(){ //draw to canvas }; img.src = "image.png"; Could be a stupid answer, or possibly it'd be better to do it

It's easy to criticize. Surely anyone who does like it doesn't have much to say other than an obvious "it's good". I don't think it's wrong though that people point out what they don't like, or would improve on. It's doesn't mean the pers

Not really the answer to the question, but this was the result of social engineering -> http://pastie.org/1535735 So, even if it was secure, in this case it would have happened..

"Social search" is only good for things like business recommendations, and idle time activities (games). Why would search of informative websites need to be influenced by what friends\family like? Not saying Google doesn't need to vamp tha
