I just think it's possible to be both. Happy that the justice system functions as intended (which many see as increasingly rare) but also sad for her as a person to lose so much of her life behind bars.

Yes! My experience is state/county, but you can actually ask the court to give you more time before surrendering to commence your sentence. In my case, I was by default given 2 months before I had to surrender. From what I remember

I cried laughing so hard. Other descriptions can't help but comment on it as well, such as "belligerently disgusting" in the Honeycrisp description.

Doesn't sound like that was the job of this little committee. As written, it was to review and particularly identify extra work. Presenting solutions to this kind of problem isn't explicitly and often implicitly the function of th

This is why I stick with T-Mobile. When I go abroad, it just works and is just included in my regular plan. I haven't been charged extra to use my phone abroad in years. And it isn't even shite service anymore, I can typically use

To answer your last question: because when I go abroad, my phone just works almost everywhere I go. Literally when the plane lands, I get a text message from T-Mobile saying "Welcome to _____" with additional information about my

I don't have much to add, but you really nailed the sentiment I was going for exactly. I have been lucky to both be serving a very small user group that I can work closely with, and one whose existing workflows still exist and they can

Well...I'd say the LA Coliseum has it beat out for the shortest track now :-) But I guess I wouldn't really count that one either, for reasons. Incredibly fun to watch. I work for the #11 (and others) so this was very disappointin

I work for a few NASCAR teams. They definitely appreciate it, all the way to the leadership. Everybody is wishing they thought of this first.

I agree with you. Although I don't think it's incompetence so much as laziness. Not just "too lazy to make a good UI" but "too lazy to find out what makes a UI good." I've seen so many coworkers happy to s

Thanks for sharing. I remember seeing this awhile ago and maybe even used it, but it didn't stick. Now I'm on it (again?) and I really enjoy this. I agree with another commenter that the red may need to be changed slightly but oth

I think the gearless rider by age curve is mostly a bell. Those I see riding in full gear are either young or old (55+ if I had to guess) but not usually in the middle. It's obviously biased but I'm 31 and everyone I knew and know

Right out of poverty and into a new kind of servitude, maybe. OP really should've used "capitalism" entirely but I suppose that would go down even worse.
