What makes this any different from me just spinning up my own aws windows server. They must have to mark up prices to make a profit so why not just do it myself? Its an honest question, not a critism.

Addtionally, if/when you make your app free, you'll hopefully get more people to download it. These people may leave you reviews on the app store about what they did like and what the game was lacking... information that you could then use

I think a better way to put this is if you want to make GUARANTEED money writing apps... I still think on the whole, its better to release a product yourself than do consulting for someone else.

Yes, it does sound that way, but unfortunately I'm very sure its not. I don't do any of the handling of transactions on the Market. That's all done by Google. All I do is post the app to the Google servers and they take care of the rest inc
