Yeah, but looking at the Y Combinator funding trends, the majority of their companies that succeed are by founders from "good colleges."

Not really. Paul simply says, "If your answers are less than 120 words that's fine." And that's it. There's still no real consensus on what happens when you go over 120 words.

It depends on the type of doctor, and the type of service. For example, dentists and oral surgeons use referral kickbacks almost 100% of the time. I've seen xray specialists and open-MRI centers also offer doctors kickbacks. It's obviously

I wonder what would happen if you got a bunch of new, young, hip doctors and started the exact same kind of thing in San Francisco. You could have a really sweet centralized appointment and advice site with always-accessible doctors ready t

It's from a journalism school in Arizona, I think. (The original post on a site that was taken down after being dugg, mentioned the school by name.)

He's just a lucky guy with a valuable name and some intelligent things that he regurgitates in his books. Not very impressive. 250k old men with cats in their refrigerators? How deluded do you have to be to think that about the blogosphere?

From the first time I heard about Truemors, I thought it was stupid. And it's still stupid. The only reason it gets any press/traffic at all is because of Kawasaki. You always hear of it as "Kawasaki's Truemors." At least the man knows how

Have you ever used a Prada? It's not nearly as cohesive an experience as the iPhone, and it's not easy to use. The screen is far too touch sensitive. My point is, the iPhone is the first practical touch device, and it's the phone that will

You mean Steve Jobs didn't pound it into your head by saying it 50 times at Macworld? The iPhone isn't a phone. It's a "revolutionary phone," an "amazing ipod," and an "internet communication device." Also, it's not just a pretty UI. It is

Yeah, you might have those problems, but believe it or not, Apple's quality control has actually gone up. I had a 400MHz Titanium Powerbook back in 2001, and by 2003 it was a 1Ghz PowerBook G4 due to the seventeen times I had to send in var

I'm not too sure that it's because of the ease of voting. That's obviously part of it, but I think that as religious/political extremism rises, the propensity to vote also rises. So you tend to get extremists voting more often than "averag
