You asked about censorship and then deleted an article on the front page a few days ago that had some interesting comments. It was a stupid article, to be sure, but did you have to completely delete it? There's no "send to second page" butt

Also, Younoodle.com! Pretty much the entrepreneur social network. It works pretty well, too.

Might be good publicity, but also somewhat of a risk, if you were sued.

Do you understand the demographics of the American people and of MySpace?

Oh. I'd define "inactiveness" as never visiting again, or visiting so irregularly that you don't really get any value from the app. You're an "active" user of MySpace if you go there every couple of weeks, in my opinion.

150 million are slightly too old to understand it, internet illiterate, or poor. And the other 100 million are too young, or haven't graduated from MySpace yet.

That's an interesting position you bring up, but I'm not sure how well it would work for most types of acquisitions. For example, there are tons of sites that are far, far better than YouTube, but it grew fast due to its popularity on the o

Is that a joke? Are there more levels of activeness besides Inactive and Active?

62%? Considering the vast number of bands on MySpace, I'd say that's a huge number. For most web apps, that's a good number of active users. Why do you say "only"?

Why in the hell is Yahoo, all of the sudden, so valuable to Microsoft? Why didn't they make this offer a year ago or six months ago? What prompted them to suddenly, out of the blue, give them an unsolicited offer? And now that they've essen

I really like this analogy I heard on one of these threads a long time ago here: "You don't 'find' a cofounder, just like you don't 'find' a wife. It's a relationship with someone else that evolves over time and then someday, someone pops t

Awesome. Maybe I mistook your tone. I agree that a positive, confident attitude is probably productive, but you made your point by turning the positivity against Y Combinator because you are upset that you were not accepted. Right?

Sounds kind of like you're disguising your YC-denial under a veil of "I've done this before, and I'm better than you" type of thinking. Are you sure that's productive? What was your successful execution?

Do the decision letters for accepted groups ask them not to post that they were accepted? It seems like, after every funding cycle, no one admits they were accepted in these after-threads.

I bet being called "the offspring of Jef Raskin" probably pisses off or severely annoys Aza Raskin. Call him by his name, yeah?

But Google has probably hired ten PhDs just to make sure none of their products gets exploited like this. But the PhDs failed. Thus, it's newsworthy.

I figured this was obvious-- if the company fails, you lose the money invested. That's the nature of equity and stocks in general. I wouldn't consider losing 5k after exercising options (and knowing the obvious risks) as being "fucked," tho

Care to elaborate? You can't say you know someone who was "fucked" by doing something, and then not tell us what fucked them-- that's teasing!
