The common wisdom is that Apple Maps works significantly better in the Bay Area than anywhere else on Earth, because the engineers file bugs they encounter on their commute.

I was able to navigate the transit systems in Tokyo, Osaka, and Yokohama near-flawlessly with Apple Maps in 2018. I only recall encountering one correctness issue.

That’s Portrait Mode. You only get that if you change from Photo mode to Portrait mode in the Camera app, or in later OSes by retroactively applying a Portrait effect in Edit mode. The addition of the latter feature also made it possible to

This is why the Apple LaserWriter was such a big deal. It came out 1 year after the Macintosh, merging Canon’s laser printer engine, Adobe’s PostScript, and the Mac’s bitmapped display with proportional fonts.

I am curious about the validity of (re)phrasing of Newton’s 2nd Law as “instantaneous.” The acceleration is non-differentiable at T=0. Can we really combine it with analysis of times t<T and t>T?

Thank you, I knew I’d used real color mixing in multiple apps for years. Secret Weapons is making a categorically false claim to have developed the first ever true-to-life color mixing algorithm.

I am confused whether you’re mistaken or just speaking unclearly. Boris Johnson has always belonged to the Conservative party. The Tories formed a coalition with the LibDems in 2010 because there was no majority winner in the Parliamentary

Again, you seem to be conflating YouTube’s DMCA process (which is designed to optimize the experience for YouTube, not to maximize the rights of YouTubers) with what the law actually specifies. The filer must provide contact information (pa

Maybe you’re describing YouTube’s DMCA process? The actual law doesn’t specify any of that [1]: > If the user believes that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material, the user may submit a count

It’s not that crazy when you consider that someone might be wrong about whether their work is even copyrightable, but they can’t realistically be mistaken about whether they are acting as someone’s authorized agent. That’s the kind of relat

I see tons of X1s, A classes, and GLAs in the Bay Area. I think the main reason certain models don’t get imported is because of size preferences. The Yaris (aka the Mazda 2) is no longer sold here but the Mazda 3 still sells. Relatedly, MB
