In my experience, Claude (at least Opus and Sonnet) is pretty good about not misremembering itself. I think you may be describing the experience of 6-12 months ago.

Lawful evidence gathering doesn’t require you to know the answer to every question you want to ask someone up front. Nothing would ever get solved if investigators couldn’t act on the perfectly logical conclusion that the suspect must have

The whole thing relies on hardware security modules, so even if you can prove that the whole software stack is working as described, there is literally no way to know that the SE isn’t secretly handing the OS keys that a third party can dec

What’s really weird to me is they clearly wanted to convey to the Street that these layoffs were _not_ motivated by any of their financial results with the phrasing “fewer than 4,000”. But they conspicuously didn’t provide any other reason.

Tim Cook has referred to the “E-Team” in many earnings calls. I am guessing that consists of the SVPs who are above the horizontal line on https://www.apple.com/leadership/

It is absolutely unlike the situation for MacBooks, where you can walk into any of hundreds of retail stores and talk to someone who will quote you a repair or replacement price.

How would one typically implement this tokenization? Pre-pass on the input? My initial thought was to push an operand-terminator token when encountering an operator, but it was unclear to me whether it should be pushed to the stack or the o

You still have the problem of temporarily connecting every pin as you plug it in. USB-C has 24 pins and all are used. That would be a TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRS connector.

I’m distinguishing “sophistication” from “complexity”. Windows/386 is “sophisticated” in that it implements a much richer model of execution than its predecessors, with a supervising kernel and memory-protected virtual DOS machines. Th

I would posit that Windows only became more technically sophisticated than early Mac OS with the release of Windows/386, the version of Windows 2.1 that ran multiple DOS VMs in protected mode.
