Just so it's clear, Miguel de Icaza confirmed via Twitter that this will work with applications built outside of the Xamarin toolchain. https://twitter.com/migueldeicaza/status/324188860449968128 Xamarin Test Cloud is not limited to c#.

Even though there are plenty of online whiteboarding tools, I'm pretty sure 37signals can afford to fly someone in for an interview. To say the lack of asking whiteboarding questions because they work remotely is absurd.

I, too, would love to hear more details. I find it astounding that an industry that does not care about looks (tech) would have something that is evidently very prevalent.

I thought the same when I read the sensationalist title and opening remarks. Personally, I've always thought task warrior and org-mode were the most popular among hackers with OmniFocus being the go-to program for Mac die-hards. It's also w

Sure, but that requires users typing in their phone number and having Snapchat send a text to verify. I don't know about your friends, but I know for sure mine would not do that. In my opinion, Facebook is much more reputable than Snapchat.

That doesn't surprise me too much. Visually, the Poke app does look much more appealing however the big win is obviously the Facebook integration. Snapchat requires you to find friends by their phone number or by manually entering their use

Where do you get the idea that Snapchat uses the Facebook API? I have the app and I see no signs of it and I can't find any mention of it on their website.

Keep in mind that there are slides of the presentation on the page. Not quite too sure why the mods added "[video]" in the title.

They have an overview video on the homepage. Seems like analytics and ease of use are the big wins for it. For someone that wants no hassle search the crawler looks pretty neat.

While this is (technically) interesting, I don't see it being useful at all on a computer. Page curls are good on devices that can somewhat mimic a page but it really just feels awkward with a mouse or trackpad.

Just because data hasn't been found proving a company is profitable simply doesn't mean that it's not. It would be better if there was an "unknown" option for those companies. Another odd tidbit is the Internet Explorer blurb. Having IE bun

The biggest advantage for me, personally, is that it's so customizable and open source. Every last aspect can be tweaked to my liking.

I wouldn't say that the App Store is broken, but that it is terribly hard to use. For instance, after you've searched for something and paged through you want to view more information so you tap on it. After tapping to go back to the result
