I'd like to hear some talk about how the post went to the frontpage very quickly, generated some very interesting comments and then got buried (atleast temporarily)? Was this a result of people flagging the post due to the (some would argue

I also cruise "newest" and make it a point to view and upvote any credible "Show HN" posts. However, you do get the odd post that abuses "Show HN". Sometimes, they are just "Show HN: This Cool Link I Found", "Show HN: A site I found but had

I like the idea of a visual age/points indicator. Like a design from the other day, your design omits the "flag" functionality.

Fantastic. I will definitely use this. Very relaxing. UI could use some polish. What if you had a "big" featured track at the top and then more options below? http://imgur.com/5IBlu (MS Paint copy and paste) The columns below would be cha

I think getting on the frontpage (and getting good feedback) takes a bit of luck. Time of the day/etc. Try and get your submission in /newest before the East Coast gets to work... then you'll be on there for an hour+ and people will have a

This post is going to baffle a lot of US readers. I moved to Ireland in 2006 and had never seen anything like ceefax (it's Aertel in Ireland). I love how old school it is--feels like a early 80's video game. I admit I have found myself sitt
