What? Transformer model is a standard industry term for a particular machine learning model architecture: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformer_(machine_learning_... At 34M parameters, it's not very large. A L

There are plenty of explanations that don't involve malware. If you open 68.235.39.11, you end up on Linux Mint's Repositories website. Similarly, others connections may be caused by: - autoupdater - internet detection when connec

It don't know why it would be "an issue" — it's a part of the ECMAScript standard. Do they only implement new language features when something breaks and then wonder in release notes why somebody would use these features

I'm not sure what kind of web frameworks they have in mind, but "specialized scientific applications" is not the only reason for it -- BigInt is the only way to get standard 64-bit numbers (uint64/int64) in JavaScript wi

Intentionally limiting or ignoring the mobile design by making it inconvenient to use can be feature, not a bug. It's a natural filter against drive-by comments and passive participation.

The exact words I typed are "If you read these principles and reverse them...". These are Dieter's principles — a product design approach that he believes leads to good design. I pointed out that if you apply the opposite of

I don't judge their clothes, I judge this attempt at computer design. If Lange & Söhne collaborated with Honda on a set of fake spoilers and spiky lug nuts for Accord, I would similarly judge the result as a separate product.

That's the thing — normally at first sight you might recognize "И" as mirrored "N". However when you're used to reading Cyrillic alphabet, you see it as "И" at first and only later realize that it

I said nothing about their clothing. I didn't come to their fashion field with my knowledge and taste. They came to computing, a field I'm passionate about, and produced shallow cargo-culted design presented as an actual product.

You can love creativity in tech and at the same time reject fakery. Maybe like someone who's into watches enjoys fun diversity of Swatch and G-SHOCK or artfulness and craft of more expensive brands and rejects blingy stylized pretentio

Λ, although not standard in most Cyrillic typography, is a valid Cyrillic form of Л — it's how you write Л by hand, and also how it appears in some typefaces. It's also used in Bulgarian Cyrillic.

I don't understand what you mean. There are two Cyrillic letters (ok, the first one is more Greek with the same meaning) in their logo: Л and И, the rest are Latin (apart from "C" which is pronounced "s", and "

While it's true that it had math.Min/Max, it's not just the inconvenience of castings that this solves. You can't cast uint64 to float64 and expect the function to return the correct result, e.g.: x1 := uint64(900719

I tried it. You have to click on each photo you want to import. Maximum 100 photos, but you can "re-upload" the zip file and click on another batch of 100 photos. Then they are processing for a long time (which is understandable).
