That doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to choose a VPN protocol.

Time to make the suggestion to either actually use QUIC or simulate QUIC?

I for one applaud that. Strongswan and OpenVPN both have so much legacy cruft it's hard to make sure the VPN is secure - that the OSs implementation isn't incredibly out-of-date and I haven't made grave configuration mistakes

Until they can say "Mainline Linux kernel can run on the device without modifications", I don't believe them about the "don't throw away after a few years"-aspect.

Speaking of defense-in-depth. I don't understand why do certificates released by public CAs not add an extension to the cert if the cert was given to a DNSSEC validated host. As browsers are unwilling to validate DNSSEC directly it wou

We have IPA though, accents can be defined as certain phonetic replacements. It's not that simple, but it isn't impossible either.

Yeah, but what I was trying to say is that even before you couldn't get every song or album on CD, some were distributed only on tape, some only on vinyl, if you could even get a CD player or buy a CD (not too long ago USSR existed). I

It's not Android that can't keep up, it's SoC manufacturers that are lazy.

I'm interested in building a security-sensitive project with Nordic's stack, are there no ways to isolate their "softdevice" from the rest of the code running on the SoC?

Anti-bloat has been peddled for a long time, it hasn't worked, it's time to mitigate those effects with adblockers, your wallet and new protocols.

Google Plus played less with people's emotions, that's why it sucked as a social media but was quite okay to follow content makers and to manage/participate in groups.

The first part of my sentence only applies if you think you can/have audit(ed) every line of code running on your iOS device. If anything you're the one saying it can be done by you without any substance.

It compares in the way that there's not a single SCTP web server implementation compared to QUIC. People here say that we should use HTTP/2 over SCTP, no protocol will be adopted if there's no good implementations of it.
