I'm already rolling with it, I don't bother searching for answers to complex problems anymore because it's a waste of time.

Bear in mind that Google doesn't make money from users who are reasonably tech savvy, have adblockers running and are also of the mindset that they would never click on an ad anyway. Folks have been complaining about search quality for

It is all relative I guess? I lived in Spain for a while and noticed how out of season produce was very expensive and there was very little of it. In the UK we expect to be able to buy everything all year round and cheap. Nobody stops to th

Conservative Govt has proven to be a disaster and people will vote in Labour out of frustration despite knowing they will almost certainly do worse. Not optimistic for the next ten years or so.

Brexit was 6 years or so ago. Then we had 3 years of trying to reverse it, then Covid, then Ukraine and, to top that, a Govt that decides fracking for gas is unacceptable and then goes and imports fracked gas from the US. Maybe best to sum

I'm not sure how this cartel like behaviour works in the UK where every major supermarket has its own range of competing products - and then there is the likes of Aldi that is 90% stocked with brand lookalike knock offs? There are curr

In Britain you can be based in any other country and still get a fair hearing in the courts, even if you are claiming against a British business. I'm not aware of anywhere else in the World where this is the case.

The comment wasn't meant to be taken so literally, the point was that almost everything is paid for by someone else.

As a rural tax payer I'm paying for some city dwellers to sit around all day doing nothing. All the benefits you enjoy as a result of living in a modern society have been paid for by someone other than you.

Cities/local authorities, etc should be proactive in searching listing sites for obvious breaches, they shouldn't be reliant on private companies/individuals to hand-over information they are incentivised not to hand-over.

I'm against giving money to charities in principal as the money is often wasted, used inefficiently and, in some cases, enables people to continue to make bad choices in life. However, I do donate to a small charity in the UK that prov

I don't know what the situation is now but I do recall, circa 6 year's ago, a Dutch colleague being very impressed with my cheap laptop and asking where she would get one. I remember searching various Dutch retailers to show her h

OK, I'm not sure it's going to make that much difference since 20 mph zones tend to be in residential zones, typically rat runs. This indicates to me that high volumes of traffic are more likely the cause of congestion rather than
