I've had on so many cases autocomplete forms puts something in a field it shouldn't and messes up a submission. I've had it happen on travel documents that caused headaches later at the airport - especially if it fills in a h

Safari is fast and performant but once you load a heavy web app that uses a lot of memory safari will kill the tab. It’s incredibly frustrating to have a page reload with a banner simply saying the site was using too much memory and was rel

Weird, I don't think I've ever seen that.

What gave it away for me was the Conclusion heading. LLMs love adding those in and its just unnatural for news/blog posts. Reading back over it, everything about it just seems very machine written.

Yet when I try it, it feels like a developer fresh out of a coding bootcamp with no real experience. There’s no real reasoning, problem solving is still brute forced. It still rewrites rather than modifies. The context is way too limiting a

What gets me is if it autocorrects the wrong wrong the first time, I can deal with that. It's when I backspace, re-type it the exact same and it autocorrects again - that's a huge UX problem. Then there's the lack of autocorr

I pretty much dumped a side project that was using next over the new router. It's so much more convoluted, way too many limitations. Who even really wants to make database queries in front end code? That's sketchy as heck.

I'm in the same boat. My Model Y has to last until the R2 with lidar comes out. Hopefully it'll have some value left in it.

I meant more regionally. In areas where the cost of living is higher, gas costs more. Likewise, cheaper parts of the country have cheaper gas. Pretty easy to spot the trend. Here in socal its something like 4-5/g.

Price of gas pretty much follows cost of living.

Article makes it sound like Disney is just now rolling out ai for their employees but they’ve had access to it for a long time now. Disney has also been hiring for various AI positions for a bit.

Sounds like you might have content that’s changing? But what you’re running into is exactly what a user would be running into.

What’s frustrating is you basically are required to use JS when basic css and html would normally work. There’s been some improvements thanks to the dialog and popover apis but it’s still not fully there yet. Also seems the large companies

Netflix isn't buying CNN though, Paramount can just pick up Discovery on the cheap when its split off. There's no reason for them to even be trying to do a hostile bid either. I think this is just purely an ego/power trip thi

Have you seen the cops here though? Good luck trying to argue it when they’re loving you up for “shoplifting”. They’re going to side with the store.

Ya the problem needs to be a fine the first time, second time it’s fraud. Allow for honest mistakes. Punish for clearly defrauding customers. We really need jail time for execs making these decisions but that rarely happens.

Exactly. And I’ve found this is incredibly hard to get people to do, developers especially. No one wants to say a task is going over / taking longer than expected but will gladly run over. It’s hard for pms to resource if estimates are

Shouldn’t need an llm to check. It’s just a list of authors. I wouldn’t trust an llm on this, and even if they were perfect that’s a lot of resource use just to do something traditional code could do.

It would be crazy to expect them to verify every author is correct on a citation and to cross verify everything. There’s tooling that could be built for that and kinda wild isn’t a thing that’s run on paper submission.

There's a lot of really spammy data on Google maps that should be pretty easy for them to detect too. Go look at some remote locations and you'll find lots of images that advertise businesses, products and all sorts. Wondering if

I know I pay more for my unifi gear. I want stuff that works without having to hack around with it. I do enough of that in my day job. Their ecosystem works without needing to tinker. I love it.
