My Mac doesn’t randomly reboot, doesn’t force updates on shutdown, doesn’t have weekly updates that require updates. IMO Apple handles updates much better than Windows. Windows still reboots instead of shut down when you do update and shut

I think think tailwind ui was one of the better purchases I’ve made (web tech wise). Up there with the lifetime acf pro license. This sucks to see but was pretty obvious when it became the go to framework for LLMs.

Playback is actually nice I will give them that, it’s just everything else I’m not a fan of. Although to be fair they’re pretty much the only ones that let you search by label which is nice. Just a shame the rest of the ux isn’t very good.

I want to love qobuz but their ux is horrible as is discovery and they suffer the same problem the others do with their supplied catalog being flooded in fake songs attached to real artists as “ft.). Qobuz is one of the only places I’ve fou

Where I work we regularly bring in engineers to talk to clients directly. Clears up a lot of confusion when there’s something technical a PM wouldn’t understand. We still like to have a filter so a client isn’t trying to get the engineer to

On the flip side I’ve seen many projects go way over budget when a client is actively involved and introduces scope creep that turns into launch blockers. You learn quick to have strong contracts if doing fixed price bids. Problem seems to

The script linked was just vibe coded. Ai isn’t that great with the ytdl params, yet. It’s obvious because if an LLM really knew how to use ytdl it would have used the input file option instead of looping through a file and invoking for eac

Exactly. There’s been account ban reports from it too. Id be very careful if it’s your normal google account that’s tied to YouTube. Always use a burner account when using the cookies param to be safe.

I toyed with using ipv6 in my local network just to learn it and what a headache that was. Ultimately not worth the hassle. I can remember most of the important device ipv4 on my network, I can't say the same for v6.

I think they all do that to an extent. But they also kinda force drivers to take lesser value orders to keep their accept rate up. There’s been a few food delivery drivers make videos on it. No matter what all of the apps are designed to sc

The idea they're good for development is propped up a lot by people able to have a react + tailwind site spun up fast. You know what also used to be able to scaffold projects quickly? The old init scripts and generators!

Problem is, it’s not a tax. It’s a handout to private companies that take advantage of taxpayers fronting the construction cost in a lot of cases. We had one here paid for by tax payers but then leased to a company for some low dollar amoun

Honestly feels like limewire the company paid for this as a sponsored segment. Archive.org is where it ended up right away. There were torrents within minutes on the private trackers. It was even up on Usenet very quickly too. I even saw pe

It's not even complex, just some pre-recorded lines that the character can trigger via finger movements. You can want them do it and it becomes very obvious.
