Please cite your source for that. Cities are pulling out of contracts with flock because they lied about who has access to data and there’s been improper access.

I don’t think many are. Most are clueless. If you ask just would you mind a camera if it stops a crime sure people would say yes but if you asked it with all the details of what that data is used for beyond solving crime they’d for sure mos

Safe neighborhoods existed before ring and connected doorbells. They only serve to track and monitor your neighbors and feed into some ai training set, especially if you’re labeling who each person is.

There was a story a bit ago about people using video of someone turning their head from side to side to trick these systems. And of course naturally people will easily get past it.

Exactly why it’s on the warning labels too. But also you still need to eat which can be very hard when your body tells you no more food.

It happens more often when switching devices, particularly if it’s a less than regularly used device like an iPad. Happens with my travel MacBook. Takes messages a solid day to catch up.

I remember in my early dev days thinking I was clever for creating a queue. Was right in MySQL handing forum posts back when building your own forum software was a normal thing. It worked fine. Was it optimal? Not really but neither was the

The cursor is just bad UX from the start. The click area is off and it looks like you should click and drag but that's not the case. Clearly AI has a very long way to go.

I see this on Reddit a lot. Someone will vibe code something then spam a bunch of subreddits with LLM marketing text. It’s all low effort low quality sooo.

It must be nice to live in such a delusional bubble that you’re so clueless to what’s going on.

It’s autopilot and yes on current models. New models will not get it. That’ll be FSD only.

That's what I'm worried about. I hate cleaning up AI code now from contractors. If that's going to be the future of this gig, I'm out.

Lane keep is autopilot which is going away (for new cars). FSD doesn't have basic lane keep. The real question will be what happens to "legacy" cars with autopilot.

He said the price will increase as it gets more capable. Funny though, they've lowered the price of FSD over the years...

I think I’m going to use it as a guide for our own internal AI guideline. We hire a lot of contractors and the amount of just awful code we get is really taking a toll and slowing site buildouts.

Another option for iOS at least is PhotoSync. It’s nice, you can pull from photos and push to basically any remote service or local server. I have it backing up to both my nas and b2.
