I contacted them about it too and got the most generic corpo pr about them being essential for the safety of their employees.

That’s not a group associated with or really related to deflock. Deflock at most has stickers and signs to put up.

My 32gb m1 max was probably the best purchase I've made. Still plenty of headroom in performance left in this beast. Wonder what reason they'll use to end software support in the future. Bet it'll be some security hardware th

More to do with the faster storage allowing you to swap without noticing it as much. There was this whole trend when m1 first came out of people saying it didn't matter if you got the lowest spec because the ssd was so fast it made up

I don't think that would be very popular considering how easy it is to hotspot to your phone. Their watches only offer cellular because they're frequently used away from a phone. I would love it though if they did, but it would pr

They'd just call it something else or simply add a new size option for Studio Display XDR like they do Macbooks.

Same with photos. You can enable the option to offload but there’s no way to control how much is used locally. I don’t know why messages does that either. Also no easy way to remove the hundreds of thousands of photos in messages across all

And what site is going to open their api up to everyone? Document endpoints already exist, why make it more complicated.

If anyone wants an example of how quickly the algos can pin to into a group, there’s a YouTuber beenaminute that basically speed runs it.

I would expand that to the mainstream media and social media are the real supply chain risks. Majority of the population only know what’s fed to them and when their tv channel of choice and algorithm decides what they see - that’s a huge pr

That’s exactly what I thought. They look like very thin client I’ve come across and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just a rebadge.

United healthcare does that too and it’s great because it’s just straight cash on a visa gift card. Like 1.25 a week for just doing your normal stuff and more for hitting other goals. Easy to rig too…

The biggest problem is it’ll teach you bad habits. For example, Claude and gpt love to use fallbacks. They generate code that’ll get a positive result at any cost, even if it’s horrible in efficient. If you don’t have past knowledge you mig

Believe I tried that a while back and it didn’t help. Safari will reload a page as you’re using it, including filling out forms which of course it won’t save what you entered.

It’s not just mobile safari, safari on desktop does the same thing even with lots of memory available. Whatever they’re doing to limit a tabs resources needs to go, it’s so frustrating.

I remember swimming in Santa Barbara growing up (well closer to the Ventura side really) and having to dodge oil on the sand and water.

I got in an argument with someone the other day that said their vibe coded app was more secure than something hand written because the ai “knows all exploits”. We’re cooked.

Very high chance someone that’s using Claude to write code is also using Claude to write a post from some notes. That goes beyond rewriting and cleaning up.

We used to go weekly. Then sometime in 2018-2019 service went downhill fast. It would take forever to get a seat despite not being busy. It would take forever to get service once seated. The endless fries never came or when they did they lo

I only use it for cruise groups and it’s been useful but once you scroll the main feed it’s baaad. Slop after slop. And what isn’t slop is rage bait short form content or bad takes or stolen videos from the vine days it feels.

The price of googs this last year bed to differ. Maybe for some bigger companies on certain products but what stores like Walmart did was spread the price increase across all products so it wasn’t as obvious. And that’s now where it’s going

It’s insane actually how fast to re-request the same pages, even 404s. They’re so desperate for data they’re really hurting smaller hosts. One of our clients site became unusable when one of the ai bots started spamming the Wordpress search

I thought they fixed the bug where autocorrect would add text but repeat one word in the middle so it would look like: “I’m trytrying to” Been an issue for two years or so. Resetting, all that doesn’t help.
