This is just an advertisement for their service. In my 20 years in this field I can easily count on one hand the times a diagram like this has been useful. I’ve seen more cases where they were clearly created to satisfy some exec that wante

There's actually a built in way to remove them in settings. System Settings -> Menu Bar. You can uncheck or drag items around in the menu bar and group some inside of the menu bar control (and even create new menu bar controls). I w

Seems a bit deceptive to say "No cloud, no subscription, runs locally" when it still needs an api.

The real issue is copilot is implemented in their apps inconsistently. Very clear there’s little cross app planning. Apples solution is global and apps and hook into it or not. And if you turn it off apps done break.

Absolutely could be a clouded windshield on the inside (where it's really hard for normal people to clean). I brought this up when I got my last Model Y that it was foggy and they said it was "fine". Took it into service over

I’ve suspected that’s where these “ethical” (as they like to call it) residential proxy services get their access from. They’re really dodgy about it other than saying the people agree to it, which ya ok.

I hate about full access to Reddit? Discord? Have you tried accessing the internet from a location with these laws in place?

No, I meant their push of their assistant, summarizer, and news product (which is ai generated summaries).

They’re starting to with their stopslop. Sites that are mostly ai content get flagged and deranked. Still not perfect and I think they only just started working on the backlog of reports so hopefully it holds up helping.

I do agree actually but I’m sticking with them. Their mission of ending slop but also pushing ai tools seem at odds. On one hand they’re marketing to the anti ai crowd while also joining the ai hype? It’s weird.

It's kind of silly since they're just containers it runs anyways. I'm sure there's other reasons. At least running it as a VM isn't too hard. Pretty easy to use their image and run from that.

But not 549 valuable. You get that on their much cheaper airpods. Also doesn't need h2 for that, even their older ones did it.

Oh I wish I knew about this before buying SoundSource. SoundSource is a decent app when it works but it causes my mic audio goes in an out with it and people complain.

I recall there being a pretty obvious notice when they first ask if you want to participate. Whether people read it is another thing.

We’ve had this too and made a change to our code review guidelines to mention rejection if code is clearly just ai slop. We’ve let like four contractors go so far over it. Like ya they get work done fast but then when it comes to making it

Don’t know how this could be more stable than ytdlp. When issues come up they’re fixed really quickly.

Just went to a very small show, 200 tickets but lots of no shows. Maybe 100 people there total. The folks at the bar were so rude to the talent just loudly talking over them. I just don’t get it.

Algolia really needs to make using the admin key less easy. I’ve almost copied it before when setting up a frontend. It should be tucked away and require auth to view.

The readme is right from ai. How much of the app was ai coded? Asking honestly.

It's really quite bad. 'Telegram Lite' is using 1.16GB with just a single chat vs Signal using 193MB. Somehow vscode (including their renderers) manages to come in pretty low compared to even Apples native apps.

Plenty of subs blatantly allow certain brands to advertise while banning anyone else. Kind of amazed Reddit themselves haven’t put more effort into to stopping it since it kinda sidesteps their in house advertising.

I go to Disneyland nearly every weekend and the increase in foreigners is insane. Clearly a lot of people visiting that would have been going to Florida decided on California instead.

Really depends where your entry point is. They’ve moved to digital gates which have made actual cbp interactions basically a thing of the past. Last couple times I didn’t even have to take my passport out.

I’ve been making an effort to visit Canada and Europe more instead of domestic US tourism. I used to go to Florida multiple times a year. Not anymore and you know, Canada is such a great place, am there right now on vacation.

Seriously. People run reds in front of cops and they do nothing. I was tboned and the person that hit me had no license or anything to identify and ran a red and still was let go without anything.
