A sandwich shop would also be infinitely more useful to the population.

It's also fairly trivial these days to backup 4k blurays. You can also buy them very cheap second hand. The quality difference between streaming and 4k BR is nuts.

I self host my own server and this isn't something that takes much time per year. You're making it sound like a day job. It's not really. As long as you have a solid initial config you shouldn't have to worry.

We use branch names like `hotfix/some-hotfix-name`, don't think I've seen many commits mention hotfix directly.

Same. Someone we brought on that worked for about a month and vibe coded to hell caused a lot of damage in terms of tech debt and that list shows. Looks like he managed 124 commits in a single week. The same repo, our top dev only has aroun

Other countries have had very dark times and are not pretty well respected nations. US shouldn't be any different, but we're definitely being set back a lot, even more so if midterms don't result in anything meaningful.

Search is intentionally bad. You can search for something very generic where there should be millions of videos but only get about one page worth before it pushes shorts and other unrelated algo driven content.

Those other countries are much, much smaller in land mass than the US making it much easier for private companies to be competitive. Privatizing post in the US would be potentially life threatening to some rural communities. More than just

Almost for sure would be multiple camera feeds. But also wouldn’t be unreasonable to have a bitrate that high. I had a Sony camera that did 100mbps and that was just a prosumer camera.

Was going to say, I think everyone forgot about early SpaceX product quality. And NASA probably does have great video of it available, it’s just the live broadcast that missed it.

Hey are absolutely not replacing “legacy” isps and certainly not mobile. Even if they had perfect coverage, sat signals are way too sensitive to obstructions.

I’ve been getting it in safari too. It’s ridiculous frankly. My residential ip must have been flagged or something. The part that’s really annoying is its trivial for bots to bypass.

Sadly this is really the only tool we have right now. Just have to keep spamming them with delete requests because once they delete it’ll end up back in their database eventually.

It’s really just a handful that have long lines part of the day. LAX for example hasn’t has a line at all really. Takes longer for my bag to be secondary checked every time than it does to wait in line.

Except all of the ai created games posted to the various subreddits are awful. No one likes them, no one plays them. The ones that make it to steam end up getting abandoned when the devs hit a performance wall. Game development just isn’t s
