Mathematica is mostly used for relatively small, notebook-style, applications. Both features, while probably useful for some people, don‘t seem to be necessary for the more popular use cases.

It’s definitely worse but not as bad as non-MB touchpads used to be. Plus, it’s motivating to use more keyboard shortcuts.

I switched from a MBP to a Lenovo X1 Carbon and the keyboard is so much better on the X1, it’s on another level. Lost macOS though, which, in the end, didn’t matter as much as I thought it would.

Nice article! Bag-of-Words models, however, have their drawbacks and I wouldn‘t consider it a modern technique. Would be awesome if you would also try some state of the art techniques like NN word/document embeddings, e.g. with doc2vec
