I am unable to actually find an sort of source for the statistic that "Adjuncts now make up well over 50 percent of the faculty at colleges and universities." It seems to go back to the SEIU, a group that is attempting to unionize

No, I am saying there are professors receiving $200k with perks. An adjunct position isn't supposed to be a full-time long term position, so why should it be paid as such?

I feel for Ms. Vojtko's family, but I don't feel like complaining about adjunct professor salaries is being fair. These positions are short term contract (6 months-1 year) and are not meant as long term employment. These position

Yeah, when testing with short stings, the difference is great, but strings at the 4096 limit only vary by a couple of percent.

Yeah, that is what I am saying. They keep saying that they limited the length of passwords to 4096 bytes, but they actually limited them to 4096 characters.

It is priced well below what System76 offers, but the specs aren't in any way compareable. The cheapest System76 desktop comes with an i5 minimum. Your machine is offering a celeron/atom. You are comparing apples to oranges.

I'm also not sure how this differentiates itself. I can buy a barebones machine from Dell for $300 with similar specs (2Ghx Celeron, 4Gb RAM) and add a 32GB SSD from Newegg for $50, and that gets me a keyboard and a mouse. What does o

I'm not sure how Facebook was supposed to know this was a vulnerability. If you look at the actual conversation it looks like Khalil is reporting the ability to post on other people's walls as a vulnerability. In the first email,

How does the first email contain enough information to base a case on? All he says is that he can post links to other people's walls. He makes absolutely no mention of not being the target's friend.

That is a by-product of being SPDY compliant. The SPDY spec doesn't allow for unencrypted traffic, which is just one reason we need to switch over.

I would hope so. It shouldn't matter how "easy" something is to find. If the bug was really that easy, the team should have never let it out onto production.

I don't understand why the smaller file size is such a big deal. The file is going to be cached, and with the use of CDNs, is more than likely already cached before the client ever visits my website. So if the Query team is still going to

If the network was used as little as my parents is, and if this guy didn't have a network card capable of reinjecting packets, I can certainly see it taking a couple of weeks to get the number of IVs needed to crack a WEP key.
