By not supporting h264 it helps prevent that codec from becoming the standard. If Firefox were to support ogg/h264 and everyone else supported only h264 then no one would bother with the ogg support. The format war would be lost at that poi

What I find awesome is people taking otherwise abandoned knowledge and breathing life into it again. It doesn't matters whether it is CMU, MIT, or De Anza College. The sharing of experience and thought is something we need more of. I guess

I noticed that I stopped learning my way to new places a couple weeks after I bought a GPS. To fix that, I only use the GPS for the first trip to someplace new. It feels much more like a tool than a crutch now.

Many journals will not consider an article if it has been previously published. Publishing to your own web page may not count but it will surely not make the journal happy, especially if you hope to get published in the same journal again.

I think blhack is referring to the -moz-border-radius selector that only works in Firefox. One could use the CSS3 selector, border-radius, but that is not in the article.
