I don’t see how you are getting that from OP’s comment. OP seems to be claiming that ADHD is often over diagnosed and/or treated improperly. A viewpoint shared by people I know in the field.

Well considering the culture on most job sites includes ridiculing people for wearing safety glasses and dust masks, there’s definitely room for improvement.

Low wage. Not low charge out rate. In my area basically any skill labor is billed at $120/hr and the actual laborers might see $30-40 of that.

I’ve been searching for a lot of info on a game recently (Eldenring). There’s actually a good wiki with well organized entries, but the results on bing/google are all stolen blog spam. I have to manually specify the wiki in the search

You’re over estimating the quality of applebee’s ingredients. Also restaurants generally have higher profit margin items such as appetizers/drinks/deserts to offset entrees.

That’s the charge out rate. The people actually doing the labor (overwhelmingly immigrants) are only seeing a tiny fraction of that money (~1/10th or less).

Home improvement is pretty cancerous right now. I get quotes with ~$5k in labor for work that would take me a week to do in the worst case. That’s literally double my rate without considering that working for yourself is tax free. It baffle

The problem for outdoor work is that your hours change and no one else’s does, so effectively you’re forced to work 10-6 for safety reasons. So blue collar folks get disproportionately less family time.

Most software positions have a never ending backlog of work that can easily fill 40hrs of any week. Meaning a salary set at 40hrs/wk is pure downside to the work as your actual job expectations have a floor of 40hr weeks but sometimes

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. A lot of `Agile` material is just doublespeak meant to sell consulting hours and training.

Oil and gas companies could easily do better right now (likely cheaper than the method in the OP). I know someone who worked at a fluid analysis modeling company and they claimed that pipelines could easily detect and fix leaks. Pipelines j
