I'm not sure what you're actually looking for. It might help if you defined what you considered a "bootloader" to be. Are you trying to bring up an existing OS or app? Are you trying to initialize the processor prior to

Meh. Sweeping generalizations almost never hold up. The kids in my robotics class aren't ready to deal with another layer of knowledge development to get a robot to bounce off walls while sweeping the floor: visual programming is perfe

Yes. Works now, even. Without context it's impossible to know what you're asking.

Except for the obvious image copy without attribution, it doesn't seem to be. At first blush it looks to be a specific application of the previous paper's technique(s). Why?

How would I know if it wasn't working? Try stack overflow--but ask a more-complete question. I have no clue what it's supposed to look like because I'm not magic.

If you are able to do your own work, and there's nothing else to do, I don't see a problem with it. Your conditions of employment, however, may state otherwise--many do, e.g., anything you develop while at work (or even on work ha

I don't see how entitlement comes into play. Petulance, maybe. I am wary when customers refuse to listen to experience. Generally what I do is just create two UXes and do preference-testing, either internally, at the clients, or both.

Just say what you said in italics minus the ass. Simple as that. Firing a client because they don't want what you want... that's certainly an approach. Same one my eight-year old tries. shrug Regarding fonts/blues: impossib

You can't make personal attacks on a resume, you can make personal attacks on... a person. I didn't see anything in this entire thread that was a personal attack. I saw attacks on your idea , because it's deceitful, and I

Well... not so sure about that; I think I could probably spin out a reasonable resume bot. I gave the idea some thought; I think the hardest part would be a reasonable-looking work history (which of course would crumble almost immediately),

I have a minor disagreement with the "Objective" section. I use mine as a (relatively) succinct window into my personality, goals, and ambitions: mine is a bit silly, but honest, and informative. If they don't like what I say

I (more or less) tend to operate, despite my cynical nature, that everyone's nice until proven otherwise. I genuinely enjoy helping people and providing feedback/mentoring/etc. My brevity is often taken for callousness, but t

Ironically, that I would ignore anything war-like was parroted back to me as a bad thing in one of the OP's emails--he was offended because I used "profanity" (the word was "shitty") and he left in a huff after I

Because your bot is a liar. Manipulating your resume to be more appealing is valid, because it's not a liar. Shifting keywords, re-ordering sections, highlighting specific experience: totally, 100% valid, and if you can automate th

I have responded to your email, although it's borderline creepy, and telling someone you've internet-stalked them is probably not the best approach. It doesn't bother me if you sound, or are, defensive--people are naturally

Based on another comment you made, I looked at your resume, here are my thoughts: * Skip the crammed-together logo crap and links on the left. * More whitepace, it's hard to read. * Don't jam the position/company/locatio

I'm still undecided. I'm pretty tied to the Apple ecosystem at this point, for better or worse, so jumping back to Linux is a tough sell right now. I already have a touchbar MBP, so for me it'd be solely about the extra RAM (
