Pointless comparison really, you're comparing a startup (in automotive industry context) to a company established in the 1900s. Tesla's revenue growth is 40x Ford.

Sorry, you're correct. I was looking at 2018 revenue, not market cap.

That's insane. One-third of Tesla's market cap and they seem to be far behind in self-driving, battery tech, charging infrastructure and product development.

That's actually one of the great things about being bootstrapped and profitable. I can grow naturally and I don't need to scale rapidly and hit huge customer numbers to keep VCs happy. I'm in this for the long run. Even if 90

Wow, that was an extremely eloquent 4 minute piece to camera. Seems a little misplaced though. YC 120 seems to be about bringing people together who haven't already worked with great teams in SF. It seems to be for those with enthusias

I use iPhone SE as my daily driver because of the form factor. Give me a premium SE with thinner bezels and I would probably pay close to iPhone X prices. There are quite a few of us out there.

Personal attacks are completely unwarranted. I think a more useful (and certainly more constructive) way to look at this is to frame it as a learning experience and figure out what we can do to minimize the effect of this in future. It'

My shower leaked quite badly, whenever I used it then water would drip from the ceiling below. I did my best to seal it up and forgot about it. Then, I was away on holidays for 6 weeks during the cold months here in Ireland. The heating was

Is the package compressed? The space saving seems minor if so. A "Hello World" with Electron is ~40MB on Windows and ~50MB on Mac when it's compressed into an installer (DMG/EXE installer).

You'd still potentially have the out-of-date problem with Node though, which is arguably an easier attack vector since Chromium is sandboxed and Node has user-level privileges by default.

Haptics will definitely help the feel. I imagine it would take a few weeks of use to evaluate if it's a workable solution for you. I'm very interested to hear what the reviews say about it.

More open source projects should have logos. This is great. I had a similar idea a few months ago but I was coming at it from the opposite direction (demand-side instead of supply-side). It has turned into a repository of existing Node.js p

Increasing block size is not a sustainable solution for scaling transactions. Transaction fees are too high and BTC should move to 2MB as a short-term fix but the long-term fix is off-chain solutions like Lightning.

Can someone who is more familiar with Meltdown speculate on this? Is this a quick fix and is it likely to be optimised over time and become less slow? Or is this the raw trade-off and current hardware will always suffer slow-downs to this d
