You may need to get an old usb stick from eBay. The good news is that they probably would be selling for quite cheap.

Yes but on that case the earlier suggestion of just asking them for a stock market prediction would be good enough without implementing the password system.

This has a big flaw. If the future visitors copy all passwords to a usb stick and take it with them then anyone in the present time that gets a copy can pretend to be from the future. Worse still, everyone would believe the phoney future vi

“Accidental duplication” well said. Not enough people even consider this before deciding that they must remove the duplicate code. Will each duplicate section change for the same reason? If not then it’s not really duplicate code, it just l

You are correct that the problem lies at point 6. However a problem only exists if programmer B decides that it is acceptable to keep adding conditional logic to the method. Wrong. This is just a case of programmer B not knowing how to refa

I don’t mind getting old myself. With age comes wisdom. With age comes confidence and self assurance. But it’s watching family and friends around me getting older that breaks my heart a little. Watching your parents start to decline is horr

What I’ve gleaned from this thread is that in 2020 there are a thousand easy ways to host a static website. Just take your pick and go with it.

Serverless is just good old vendor lock-in disguised as an interesting idea. Some people are going to have a fun time migrating their lambdas off AWS in a few years.

While in most cases I would agree, in this case I have to disagree. I think serverless has been a good idea implemented badly in every instance.

What you should really aim for is a simple class structure and simple functions within. Complexity at either level is not your friend and certainly not something the next developer to maintain the code will thank you for. That’s the person

I really don’t think looking someone in the eye is as important as it sounds. Yes facial expressions communicate a vast amount of information but I can still see someone’s face even if they are not looking me in the eye. Tbh I actually don’

Nah. I played it before Monkey island and have never played manic mansion. I remember being addicted to it right away and thinking it was hilarious. I remember having to load about 10 floppy discs sitting next to the PC. Good fun.

I think I can explain this. At some point in the past the interviewer has had to get to grips with OO programming. This isn’t easily for everyone, myself included. But eventually it all clicks. And it’s a great thing. Then you start learnin
