I switched to my own router and modem last year with Comcast, and it was shockingly easy to get the old router returned and the fee removed on monthly bills going forward. I haven't seen it come back since. I was previously paying $7&#

That's 30 employees per city, for those who didn't do the mental math. Seems way more reasonable considering for each given market, you'll need a number of support staff + supervisors, marketing people, staff to support drive

Yes, which is presumably what the X% service fee goes towards. Every order made on the platform assesses a fee ("Taxes and Fees" line item) to the consumer that goes to DoorDash (not your delivery driver), on top of charging the r

I once used DoorDash's "order for pickup" option, not wanting to pay the delivery fees for something that was close by. Got asked very strongly by the restaurant at pick up to not do that again and instead just give them a ca

I'm curious what would be motivating here, too. Of all times to dilly dally in a grocery store, now's not the time. I want to get in and get out to reduce exposure time--not spend time updating an app with what I see on a shelf.

Tencent invested in reddit's series D financing round in 2019. Can't figure out what % they "own", but OP implying full ownership is not entirely correct. Edit: and looks like OP edited their comment to clarify.
