1. Where are you going to build these? The neighbours will vote against you. Or you can build them in the middle of nowhere, meaning that they’re nowhere near any jobs. 2. This is appalling accommodation: no mains electricity, no heating, n

Somehow, I think any (anti-)correlation between the two will be due to a common dependence on a third variable, rather than one causing the other.

Another one: Switching between full screen windows doesn’t swallow keystrokes as such, but sends them to the window you’re switching away from, instead of to the window you’re switching to, while the animation completes. Highly annoying.

I am in the process of being made redundant (not because of anything to do with AI, just because of economic headwinds the traditional part of the business had to deal with). I haven’t put a lot of effort into job hunting yet, but my collea

Maybe? On the one hand, population decline, to the extent it’s a problem, was already a problem before AI and the internet came along. Any policy response that doesn’t address the economic causes will be a failure on its own terms. On the o

How does this fit into your workflow? I don’t understand why you’d do this rather than create the Jira ticket directly in Jira, and I don’t understand what sorts of changes you’d put in the commit.
