They’ve copied the article from a Medium post, and changed the title so it makes less sense (article body doesn’t mention C++ at all, does praise garbage collected languages though, which C++ isn’t). Original link: https://medium

I do not think the word “singularity” means in this context what the author thinks it means in this context (technological rapture). And it is pure sophistry to claim that if AGI will exist in the future then it also exists in the present a

How does this compare to having a smaller battery in the car, with more energy storage on grid? I see that this way there are lower transmission losses, but surely this is outweighed by spending extra energy carrying a larger battery around

I agree with this, but the examples don’t really work for me. Sqlite is that easy to get started with… if you already have make and a C compiler installed. The example makefile they give later on assumes that packages are installed using br

Yeah… I wasn’t really getting at it not working on 32bit, more getting at it not working on arm. If it doesn’t acquire the ability to run arm binaries, it will be a retro computing platform in a couple of years. (And it would have to emulat

You will need to implement some sort of censorship system, even if only to remove the outright illegal stuff. Also there’s stuff like doxxing where there’s no point filtering it out with an optional filter — either your site filters it out
