Musk's right wing shift and naked conservative bias do not serve Spacex well when the opposition is in power. Most commercial enterprises with operations that fall under federal control play both sides of the street.

Amazing that you can get much the same functionality in a off brand $30 watch these days - at least monitors sleep and blood oxygen - although it explicitly does not do medical diagnosis. Still every senior should have one for many reasons.

I have no interest in or relation to Brilliant Light Power other than as a long time follower. Mills went to court to defend himself against an accusation of fraud I believe. Wikipedia is about 10 years out of date. As for 'crackpot &#

So physically inactive people, over a 10 year span, are 10-20% approx more likely to die from all causes than those who are physically active. Am I reading the conclusions/statistics correctly? I wonder how this varies with age. I woul

A similar exercise but much easier to do in an interview is to give a short piece of code that does something a bit non-trivial and ask them to write (paper or whiteboard) test cases for it. Can then either run the test cases and see if the

Why do you need a tunnel? Proton beam is happy in a vacuum and magnets can be shaded a la James Webb for superconducting temperatures. Might need to put the collision area underground to minimize solar and cosmic noise.

To talk politics in a hopefully unbiased way, he notes that red/blue state level maps of politics gloss over a lot of detail and that maps at the congressional district level reveal the battleground districts and also gerrymandering.

Just knowing how many steps away from solved it is is a big help. If only a few steps away each move has to improve the layout visibly and if not it's probably wrong and you can revert it before you get too far into the weeds.
