This article did get published in the American Journal of Physics, and there was some back and forth discussion also published in the Journal. Unfortunately, the published version and the ensuing discussion is effectively inaccessible ... t

Actually, maybe you should try Slack in earnest with a project team before assuming the OP criticisms are wacked. I tried it with my team about a year ago, and all of the OP criticisms resonate with me. We don't use Slack anymore.

Please, everyone, stop forcing HomeBrew as a dependency. HomeBrew screws with your systems file permissions and installs directly into the standard system directories. MacPorts ( https://www.macports.org/ ) is at least a good

Those links are to "Open Access" books and have always, I believe, been free (as in beer). The content identified by the original post were not open access; they were paid access (typically quite expensive) and published in 2004 o

I'm now seeing "Get Access" (i.e., pay money) instead of "Download Book". I wonder if Springer shut this down? Or if there is some quantity or rate limit on the downloads?
