You can double license software and have a non-AGPL license for customers. AGPL is a must nowadays to avoid Amazon and other giant companies like it to "steal" your project and start offering the same thing initially (2-3) cheaper

Actually we chose not to use it after talked to the developers about some of their approaches at the time. They had weird views on GC and made it impossible to tune their stack to have lower latency. It was not really an option to operate E

Not sure what is considered complex. I have a login flow and search interface implemented in HTMX and Rust. Polishing the last few rough edges and when it is done I a writing a detailed article about it.

Yes. We use it to have a backup communication channel when all other networks are down. This is an extremely unlikely scenario. If that happens wireless communication is going to be the least of the problems.

When a comment on HN has more merit than the article. The only problem with postgres is that inserting has some interesting scaling problems. Putting a queue between the event sources and the db is usually recommended.
