FastMail is an Australian company. With their encryption laws, I'd stay clear until they move all their staff and systems outside of Australia.

I will try that. However, I don't think this is the case as this happens on WiFi as well. Additionally, on 4G with 5 bars it still happens. Everything else works fine and is instantaneous.

Perhaps it is another issue, but the fact that I've had it across multiple devices, I'd be surprised if it isn't Spotify's shoddy "algorithm" (if you even wanna call it that). I posted this a while ago on reddi

I keep pointing this out, but Spotify's shuffle algorithm is absolute horrible. It plays the same 10 or so songs for hours on hours before it moves on to the next 10 or so songs. Their offline feature has become rubbish. Every morning

Perhaps there's some proxy out there that would do it. The closest you'll come to it at the moment is either privoxy (proxy with it's own rules) or alternatively, AdGuard Home, which is like pi-hole, but it also understands A

For the past 3 years I've noticed gmail being extra slow on Firefox. Every other site loads almost instantly, except gmail. Even when I used to use Facebook, it would load fairly quick. Chrome wasn't much quicker or slower. Except

> The main problems I've had with go modules are fast-and-loose upstreams that happily rewrite history. go mod detects this and stops the world, and you have to manually edit go.sum. This exists in other package management systems.

I actually used one of these when I visited San Francisco a couple of years back (I think it was at an AMC IMAX?). As everyone has already said, this is a coffee machine with a $25,000 arm that moves the cup. I was super excited when I saw

Bit late reply. And yes, UK and NZ are part of the five eyes. I'm a UK resident. My ISP is a small start up that has started less than a few years ago. One of the few companies that provide residential 1gbps. You'd expect such a c

Isn't this the second time they've done this whole vpn thing? What's stopping them from rebranding it again and reselling it under a different name only to be caught again so they then say "we're gonna stop" an

I've confirmed that this is the case a while ago. Google Home, Google Home Mini. Netflix seems to do this as well with their apps.

I posted this a while ago on the /r/pihole subreddit. Since my router is a bit more restricted, I ended up blocking Google's DNS as they've been doing this in other devices and software as well. It seems that they only a

I've had to give up on both which is a pain for me. Reason being that for some reason no connections work when it's running. As soon as I disable it internet works again. Haven't bothered figuring out what the issue is yet.

Yes, and these aren't that easy to manage, but still doable, but thanks to a really helpful and big community it's easier. Some tools allow for regex, wildcards and similar. The bigger issue comes from the likes of Google/You

Ghostery is owned by Cliqz, which in turn is owned by Hubert Burda Media. HBM makes a big chunk of their money from advertisement and tracking. Make of that what you will.
