I wouldn't have minded if it didn't cost $240 bucks just to upgrade the ram...

Huh... I thought there are usually clauses regarding "subletting" when signing a rental lease? At least where I am anyway, "subletting" is generally frowned on.

Hi Geoff, something I've been wondering: how can Meteor help prevent race conditions? For example, if there is a lengthy piece of text (say a blog post) being edited by > 1 person. Can Meteor simply lock a resource and prevent edits on

I like to say to people: "Software Engineering is an attempt of turning an art into science". Let's be honest. Software development is an art form. Just like people form groups from quartets to orchestras to make music, so do people form gr

I associate myself mostly as an Architect first, Starter second. There is nothing more than I'd like for someone to just take some designs I've drawn up, critique if necessary, and then get it done. Generally, I get so stuck in the big pict

For awhile I did not really know how to take this whole thing. Upon reflecting, I realise I probably do lean away from Classes in general... it was strange to come upon that realisation, as I come from a strong Java/OOP background. The bene

I'll note this for next time. I would have preferred a "save this story" feature instead though (especially since "vote story" didn't immediately equate to "save story" for me)
