I miss reading Blogs. Old school, detailed blogs written in a plain and simple language. It's easy to follow and almost be invested in the journey.

As an Indian, this was also my immediate thought but then I read the About section, I figured it was easy/ier for him. The not allowed if visited another place rule must have been easier to circumvent with some planning.

Most are making up these stats. Don't say 100% improvement, though, unless you can back it up but 30% with a process improvement should be easy to justify in an interview. The point here is to make your resume "skimmable" sin

Well, he has a point about Maths :) But, the difference is that basic Maths skills are enough to live a decent life for someone who doesn't do Maths for a career. Basic programming usually isn't enough to pass job interviews and o

I like how this is mostly based on the Kibana UI. Makes easier to convince other people to move to it.

I also don't find anything wrong with their stance. Ironic, sure, but I think to judge someone they need to have filters and in this case, the filter is someone who is able to communicate without AI assistance.

I'd guess that outside the Silicon Valley bubble (and few big names in other countries), most software companies are like this. Small, profitable and without a lot of debt.

This is true. So many CNCF projects for example these days have a lot of contributions from Chinese devs or originate from companies like Alibaba/Tencent etc

In the managed k8s space, the data is on a PVC in the same availability zone as the node it is being mounted on. If the node dies, the volume is just mounted on to a new node in the same zone. There is no data movement required.

That's not the only reason in my opinion. It's way easier for European graduates to find a job and cruise on to retirement. The govt takes care of them for life and so the do or die attitude needed to start a company just isn'

"Amazon" may not, but the manager, VP, SVP etc may. Careers aren't made by having the right skillset. They're made by having the right set of contacts. YMMV
