I enjoy seeing glimpse into other people's niche hobbies. I really enjoy markets like they describe and I've experienced them in Asia, but I have no idea where I'd find one in WA State.

It's funny because I learned git on the job and we exclusively used rebase when I was learning my git fundamentals. I wouldn't say merging scares be, but it's never a tool a reach for.

Is git reflog that bad to use? It just lists a bunch of commit hashes. Find the one you want and hard reset to it.

With Photosync I have our photos export to my NAS and have it update the file names with the timestamp + original file name, which makes it so much more sane to sort through. Example: Original: IMG_9999.JPG Server-side file: 2015.01.15__IMG

I have a Plex lifetime subscription but hold no strict allegiance to the company. If Jellyfin was a comparable product (in user experience and ease of use for my extended family's platforms) I'd switch tomorrow.

I am now appreciating the spectrum of ad acceptance. I am closer to the "billboards shouldn't be allowed" end of the spectrum. An ad sitting on a screen in my personal space sounds like a dystopian novel.
