Ah sorry missed the part about mobile. But in any case, this isn't true, there has been playground for quite a long time on iOS. The portions of BSD which XNU uses is quite small, and is quite a mismatch of things from all over like IO

Millions of people build and create things on Mac computers, they have the XCode IDE and multiple natively supported languages, swift, objc, C++, C, Python, JavaScript, it's all built-in. Am I missing something?

What are _you_ talking about? Apple has never directly supported both directly through software support or otherwise, support for booting anything else but macOS on bare-metal M1.

Problem is everything needs to be automotive grade components, and if the supply is already low such a type or in contention, they are going to cost a heck of a lot more than the absurdity which is the 100% additional cost for a automotive

AFAIK terminal.app doesn't have any control code filtering before it's rendered. Although iTerm2.app does have this as a feature, if that helps.
