Pocket didn't pay for the integration, period. Now, whether there's money flowing as a result of the integration is an interesting question. See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10681622

Revenue sharing arrangement doesn't mean Mozilla included Pocket for money. Does Pocket even make money at a scale that could be remotely interesting to Mozilla? I very much doubt it. I also doubt that Telefonica makes significant mone

Because it has happened before, e.g. http://www.today.com/health/breaking-vegan-author-jordan-you... People jump into new lifestyle trends as if it were their new religion, failing to balance their diet reasonably.

Google used to pay/employ a number of people working at Mozilla who were then pulled to work on Chrome. This includes former Firefox lead developer Ben Goodger, for instance. I think Mozilla was still using CVS at that time, so the los

This defense doesn't quite work out. I've heard these stories about Bavarian police doing Racial Profiling on buses, trains and highways again and again before there was any refugee crisis. Experienced it myself too. It's rea

Racial profiling, supposedly unlawful in Germany, but you can't really do anything about it when it happens -- except for being an impolite and passive-aggressive smartass (do know your limits, though) and making the officers feel bad

Seems like lots of FUD; how do Firefox Hello, Pocket and Geolocation "leak data about you" if you don't explicitly use them? How do DRM and Reader mode leak data at all? Also, Safe Browsing, DRM, Search suggestions, Telemetry

Google didn't donate money to Mozilla (not large-scale anyway), it paid for being the default search engine just like it pays Apple and Opera, for instance. Very traditional business deal.
