I don't. Whenever I come back to HN, I may click on my username at the top right and see if my latest comments were replied. If I have the time to reply then I reply, otherwise no reply is ever attempted.

Shouldn't it be the other way around? A "verified-only" social network should pay me if they want to get my real id/passport. There' no chance I'll give so much information to a social network company.

I would be more interested in image-to-text models. Does someone know of any decent model? I saw the GPT4 demo, and they showed that they do image-to-text... but then that was actually a fake (i.e., the model was interpreting the image file

Whenever I have to deal with logs, it's either: a) simplicity of rsyslog b) monstruosity of ELK | Grafana | etc. Somehow I like Prometheus (I think it's "simple"), but it's not enough to display and search for logs.

Does it really matter? Microsoft owns GitHub, and unofficially owns OpenAI, so MS can do whatever they want with their toys.

None. The moment you make me choose, you already lost me. Besides, who needs a "lifetime" subscription for anything tech-related? If any for my domain and email, but even for them I pay regularly every now and then.

Even if the loop is just one iteration, it's already breaking the internet. I cannot stand web sites that show the CloudFlare verification page before you can access. It's just ridiculous.

I have a small mp3 (sandisk). About 16GB, around 4000 songs. I carry it with all the time (when travelling, when doing sports, when running, etc). The best thing is that it's small, so I can just hang it anywhere on my clothes and call

I believe it's a step backwards. If I cannot open your project locally in my favorite IDE, then you are handcuffed to a specific vendor... and that will hurt you in the long run.
