Wouldn’t you consider “validating that it works beyond the chip-sized proof-of-concept” as part of research, especially considering the claims are that it will scale to a modest briefcase-sized unit ? We’re not talking about something that

How would giving credit to the author of the article (the person that did most of the legwork) cause the project maintainer to feel unhappy ? I simply don’t get that. The project maintainer surely would have not felt bad giving credit to s

The best leaders never take credit themselves. It doesn’t matter if it’s a paid job or as a volunteer on an OSS project, if you lead, you give all the credit to those who work under your direction.

Re-reading the article, it sounds like maybe the venting happens at some pressure high enough above the point at which H reacts back to H2O that there’s none left ?

I slept in an apartment above my office in London for two nights a week over four years, commuting from York (3 hours door-to-door). Each week I spent the three days in the office working very long hours, and then had a nice relaxing couple

This sounds great on paper but there’s a couple of questions left hanging: > We take the battery, put it in an open fire, and watch it continue to heat up. What ends up happening is that the pressure above top charge will force the hydro

If this renewal came with a condition that it shouldn’t be used as a convenience method to dry out cereals just before harvest, then I’d be fine with it. The whole practice of spraying wheat with glyphosate to kill it and dry it off, potent

But you don’t have to go to Japan to make a comparison, you can, as the GP suggested, look at the rest of the country which has abysmal public transport - not fit for purpose - where at least it mostly works in London. Before another penny

The depth and detail that you experience when viewing these images stereoscopically is incredible… and then to consider that the shutters were not synchronised, that this was a complete fluke is just wild. Thank you for pointing this out !

For a few years after the death of my baby daughter, I’d relive the events of that day pretty regularly, looking for some kind of meaning, pattern, lesson to be learned maybe. I’d also continually wonder what she’d be like now she was 3, 4

Just bought a new European made dishwasher which cleans perfectly at 0.55kWh / 2.2 US gallons per “Eco” cycle. But it takes 4 hours. The quick 65C cycle takes an hour but uses 1.1kWh and 10 US gallons.
