This "UpdateCheckThread" code looks pretty funky, [0]. It downloads some stuff from a URL, writes a file to disk, and creates a process to run it. 0: https://github.com/dbgsymbol/getsymbol/blob/cb4bd

I'm new to Zig this year, and I'll share my own learning experience. ziglang.org's overview[0] says, "Zig functions avoid colors." I interpreted that as similar to Go's lack of function colors. Given the rest o

Indeed, though is there any protected status in the US for "people that make use of the court system" that would bar such discrimination? As a landlord, legal costs will eat into your margins real fast. The landlord uses this serv

I've heard of (clever? sociopath?) executives that would do this periodically to get fresh perspectives at a cost of zero dollars. They had no intention of hiring any of the candidates.

I find that the phrasing of the Monty Hall problem makes the solution less certain than stated. > "You pick a door, say #1, and the host, who knows what’s behind the doors, opens another door, say #3, which has a goat." That&#x
