It's a show of good faith but they would have no claim to your side projects anyway (unless you produced a direct competing product that they could reasonably demonstrate you had stolen from them). At least that's my view of it. If anyone

I said I liked it as it is now, but I would actually prefer a hybrid: Show the score but only -4 - +4. That is, make positive counts behave how negative used to.

Depends on the country. There are still places where being a waiter can be a career but if you get caught doing something insane like that (I personally think spitting in someone's food should be a crime on the level of assault at least) y

If this is the case how come so many assholes got through the screening process? The arrogance of very successful actors is legendary (though very successful singers may surpass it).

Easier said than done. Unfortunately, as indicated elsewhere in the thread, being poor becomes a mindset. Regardless of how it got started, it ends up there and it's hard to break. Personally, I've tried to help 2 or 3 poor kids just rec

Refactoring. In Visual Studio I can click on any usage of a badly named class, press F2, type in the new name and it will be updated everywhere. Even the name of the file holding the class is updated.

Is this a joke project or something? You need to tell visual studio to STFU so you can get some work done? Has this person ever used VS? It's one of the best editors I've ever used. What is he going to use to be more productive, vi?

"Protestant work ethic" is the term we use for a specific group of people who happened to also be protestant. And it very much is the case. You hear it in nearly every person you talk to.

No, hopefully it will just go away. Flash should be considered legacy at this point, we shouldn't be developing new dependencies when we're finally getting movement on the HTML standard.

Invalid comparison. AdBlock is most likely using less resources than the ads it blocks. Virus scanners are overhead on all stream operations.
